Day 117’s assignment was “Go out of your way. Travel somewhere you wouldn’t normally go today specifically to create something inspired by that location.”
Today I was going to adventure to the library so I decided to put something funny in one of the books. I decided to look up which famous person birthday was today and make something based on that. Today is Jet Li’s birthday and in honor of this I decided to make my first Troll quote.

Then I printed out a smaller version of this and headed off to the library to find a book about Jet Li. I didn’t have much luck finding a book just by him, so instead I turned to a book by Bruce Lee.
I wonder how long it will take for someone to discover it. 😉
I love the whole concept of this, putting the troll quote in a library book for someone else to discover is nothing short of genius. Who is the quote attributable to? Jet Li?
So this is what you meant by trolling the library. You troll 😛
This is so brilliant. I love the idea of leaving the artifact in a library book – so mischievous. What type fo glue did you use to adhere the paper to the book page?
As for the quote origin / attribution, I’m surprised Professor Groom didn’t pick up that it’s from Charles De Gaulle aka coq d’acier.
actually I got this quote from a website that attributes it to Chuck Norris… thought it would be funny to keep it in the martial arts family. 🙂
@scottlo I just stuck it in the book spine; If I used glue I think a librarian might have murdered me!
On the back I wrote “happy bday jet li!” with the date… should have put the website url so I could know who found it! Next time
